Career Highlight #1 – “Winning back to back football sectionals and winning 2 sectional patches in indoor track ”
Career Highlight #2 – “Going to states”
Career Highlight #3 – “Going to Nationals ”

Favorite thing about High School Sports: “Competing for my school and for my teammates.”

Most memorable moment in High School Sports career: “Winning my first sectional title in football as a freshman.”

Plans after High School: “Would like to go to college and play football or compete in track.”

BB: Being a young track athlete, do you feel the sky is the limit for you in the future?

AR: Yes I believe the sky’s the limit. With my coaches and dad motivating and helping me. as long as i keep pushing myself to continue working hard the sky’s the limit.

BB: What has helped you most in your ability to throw so successfully?

AR: My coaches have done a great job getting me stronger and teaching me technique. I also get a lot of support from family and friends that helps me with my confidence.

BB: What was the experience like at states this year?

AR: The experience was great. I learned there is a lot of good throwers in NY State and I will have to work even harder so I can be the best when i’m a senior.

BB: Do you feel you can improve upon your state finish next season?

AR: Yes I do think I can improve on my finish at states. I didn’t throw as good as I would’ve liked to. My goal by my senior year is to be the state champ.

BB: Finally, being a multi sport athlete, do you feel being such a versatile athlete has helped you in track?

AR: Yes I do believe that. Football and track go together for me. I workout for football and I workout for track. I work on getting stronger and better everyday for both sports.
