This season, we have been following along with Byron-Bergen’s Brandon Burke and his quest to become the top jumper in NYS. Today at the Section V Track and Field Championships at Lyons High School, Burke took one more step towards accomplishing his goal – as he High Jumped 6’10” to set what I believe was a meet record. The overall Section V Record is 6’11”.

Congratulations to Brandon, as he has already achieved quite a bit of success during his career – which still has one whole season left. Yep, he’s a junior.

Complete Track and Field results from this weekend coming later.
