Last night the Batavia Baseball team rolled over Greece Olympia by a final score of 24-3. Highlighting the win for Batavia were a slew of hitters, although third baseman Jerry Reinhart had perhaps the biggest day of them all.
Finishing with the cycle, Reinhart went 5-5 with 4 runs scored, including a single, double, triple, and home run. He also knocked in 5 RBI on the day. Jerry is the second Reinhart in a week to hit for the cycle, as sister Maiya did the same for Batavia Softball at the end of last week.
In addition to Reinhart’s heroics, Alex Canty finished 4/5 with 4 runs scored for Batavia, with a double, home run, 2 RBI, and a stolen base.
