The Batavia Boys Basketball team beat up on cross-town rival Notre Dame last night, winning the Lions Club Tournament Title game over the Irish by a final score of 61-29. The Blue Devils started out strong in this one, taking an 11-4 lead after the first frame, and coasted behind consistent scoring and solid defense the rest of the night.

Leading the way for Batavia were TeeSean Ayala and Antwan Odom, as Ayala led all scorers with 19 points, while Odom chipped in 14 of his own. Odom’s performance was good enough to earn Tournament MVP honors. For Notre Dame in the loss, Ryan Moffat scored 15 points.
