Batavia picked up another win Wednesday night over Olympia 57-42. Batavia guard Tee Sean Ayala did not play in the game (coaches decision), and he being the best three point shooter Batavia has – I anticipated a struggle to find points

Ironically enough, however, Batavia shot 44% from beyond the arc knocking down 7 threes for the game.  Leading the way was Ryan Hogan who stepped up big time for Batavia – scoring 23 points and grabbing 6 rebounds.  Hogan played easily his best game this year and it was much needed for a Batavia team that has struggled to find points all season.

Batavia also got 11 points from Malachi Chenault and 7 each from Adonis Davis and Nashiem Harris.  Will Green Jr. contributed 14 for Olympia but they simply did not have the scoring power to knock off the Blue Devils.

Batavia will look ahead now to a big test at home Friday night against Arcadia, who is one of the top teams in Class A.
