Congratulations to the Batavia Girls Basketball team, who battled through a bit of adversity in order to become Rotary Tournament Champions last night – winning 60-44 over runner-up Notre Dame. Highlighting the win for the Lady Devils was youngster Ryann Stefaniak, who finished with 16 points on the night – just ahead of a long list of other Batavia contributors including Seniors Tiara Filbert and Sam Cecere who scored 13 points a piece.

For Notre Dame in the loss Rebecca Krenzer had the big game with 16 points.

A close game during the early portion of the second half, the Devils were able to improve their lead down the stretch vs the Irish in order to capture the Tournament title.
