Batavia Golf (MC)
Season Outlook: Batavia returns all but one of its golfers from a season ago, however, they’re still a young team with no seniors, two juniors, and six sophomores. The team is also composed of two freshman and a seventh grader. The Blue Devils are hoping to peak by the end of the regular season.
Key Players: Kyle Johnson – Kyle shot a 45 in league play this week, which is 8 shots better than his 2017 average.; Teaghan Moynihan –Teaghan averaged a score of 47 per round last year.
Coach’s Quote: “I am expecting continual growth among the players as they progress this year and the following years,” said Batavia head coach Paul Pedersen. “Hopefully with a core returning there will be friendly competition among them. (We have) a great group of talented young individuals who are eager to improve.”
