The Batavia Lacrosse dropped another one on Tuesday, to Livonia, by a final score of 13-6.
“Today’s game was a well fought battle between two very evenly matched teams,” said Devils’ head coach Matt Landfried following the contest. “We were in the game right up to the end where we had a few break downs at key moments defensively. We also did not take advantage of the man-up opportunities/possessions that we had. All the goalies for both teams made excellent saves during the game.”
Down 8-5 going into the fourth quarter, the Devils gave up a 5-1 frame to the Bulldogs, who walked away with the 7-goal win.
In the loss, Dustin Veitch stopped 14 of 27 shots for Batavia, while AJ Schultz netted 3 goals offensively.
