Batavia, Pembroke, and Le Roy Track and Field Athletes show out at LR and R-H Invites

Over the weekend, Pembroke, Le Roy, and Batavia Track and Field athletes performed extremely well at both the Le Roy, and Rush-Henrietta Invitational.

For the Dragons, Lucas Kohorst won the 800 Meters at the R-H Invite, timing out at 2:00.65 – which was just :00.06 ahead of the second place finisher Dylan McNamara of Gananda. Pembroke’s Killian Lewis also recorded a first place finish at R-H – throwing 152’11” in the Discus.

Also at R-H, Batavia’s Anthony Ray won the Shot Put, throwing 51′.

For Le Roy at their own invitational on Friday, McKenna Cone won Girls Athlete of the Meet with as triple-win performance in the 100 Hurdles (17.81), Long Jump (15’11.5″), and Triple Jump (33’05”). Also for the Lady Knights, Courtney Kacur finished as a double-winner in the 1500 Meters (5:22.85), and High Jump (4’9″). On the Boys side for LR, David Privatera won the 800 Meters (2:06.13), Canyon Roster won the High Jump (5’7″), and Marshall Schultz won the Shot Put (40’3″).

All in all, it was an exciting week in local track and field. Stay tuned for Sectionals coming up this weekend.
