I made my way out to Le Roy this afternoon in order to take in Oatkan Knights practice, where I was able to get a feel for what they hope to accomplish this season. Entering a newly-constructed Division within the LCAA/GRAA, the Knights may have a quality chance to compete for a Divisional Title this season.

If Le Roy hopes to walk amongst their league’s elite, it will depend heavily on the work their offensive/defensive line has put in during the offseason, and preseason. Today, they looked strong during individual sessions.

Also during individuals, the WRs worked on catching the ball in traffic during a quick drill.

When the team came together toward the end of practice, the offense lined up against the defense and went over assignments which will be solidified at this weekend’s scrimmage day.

Finally, I spent a brief amount of time with the four Le Roy captains, as well as their head coach, immediately after they left the practice field.

Week 1 is only a couple of weeks away. Continue to tune in on Twitter for LIVE updates from my Training Camp Tour.

Here are a few photos from my time at Hartwood Park:
