Here is the 2015/2016 All-Batavia’s Best Girls Basketball team. The team was made up of the players who, in my opinion, carried their respective teams this season. Stats were included in the process, but were not the end-all be-all in determine the members of each team.

 

First Team

Taylor Clar (Wheatland-Chili) – 14 ppg, 5 apg

Madison McCulley (Batavia) – 14.4 ppg, 4.8 apg

Alex Reigle (Elba) – 14.9 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 4.1 apg

Gill Flint (Cal-Mum) – 15.3 ppg, 7.6 rpg

Tiara Filbert (Batavia) – 19.2 ppg, 12 pg, 4.5 apg

Second Team

Olivia George (Alexander) – 12.2 ppg, 3.8 apg

Aralyse Johnson (Pembroke) – 12.4 ppg, 11.7 rpg

Kierra Perl (Attica) – 10.1 ppg, 6.9 rpg

Rebecca Krenzer (Notre Dame) – 13 ppg

Sam Cecere (Batavia) – 10.2 ppg, 6.6 rpg

Third Team

Adrianna Molisani (Cal-Mum) – 7.2 ppg, 3 apg

Aubrey Lewis (Lyndonville) – 11.4 ppg, 6.5 rpg

Hannah LaGrou (Oakfield) – 6.7 ppg, 6.9 rpg

Bethany Ezard (Byron-Bergen) – 7.3 ppg, 11.2 rpg

Elizabeth Russell (Wheatland-Chili) – 6 ppg, 11 rpg

All-Underclasswoman Team

Kylie Schlagenhauf (Oakfield) – 7.6 ppg, 3.6 apg

Olivia Kohorst (Pembroke) – 7.8 ppg

Emily Reynolds (Elba) – 14.1 ppg, 7.7 rpg

Taylor Stefaniak (Batavia) – 10 ppg

Erin Cappotelli (Le Roy) – 8 ppg

Todd Grimes (Wheatland-Chili) – Led Wheatland-Chili to Class D1 Sectional Title

Marty Hein (Batavia) – Led Batavia to Class A2 Sectional Title

Mike Reed (Notre Dame) – Led Cal-Mum to Class C1 Sectional Title

Marcia Hirsch (Alexander) – Led Alexander to Divisional Title

Tom Redband (Elba) – Led Elba to Sectional Semifinal berth

  1. Thank you for showcasing these athletes and acknowleging their hard work and talent! Most of these students work so hard on and off the court/feild, etc. and make their schools and communities extremely proud!
