Brasky vs Brasky ends in heartbreak as Batavia wins

In the tantalizing Brasky vs Brasky matchup on Friday night, the Batavia Blue Devils overcome a resilient CSAT Eagles team by a 17-point margin. Playing well for Batavia in the win was Ryan Hogan, who went for 20+ points to go with an array of other statistics.

Although the Eagles were able to shoot extremely well from the three point line (14-35) as a team, the Blue Devils were able to weather the barrage from deep and take care of business at home. With the win, they remain unbeaten and should continue their momentum going forward as they take on Eastridge on Wednesday.

Despite rooting for my brother’s team during the game (he is CSAT assistant), I wasn’t surprised at all to see Batavia walk away with the convincing victory in their home gym. The Eagles had multiple players out due to suspension, and were severely outmanned, and outgunned in this game.

With their entire team, perhaps it would have been a different game.
