Buffalo Bills football is back this afternoon and I’m on the scene in Baltimore, looking forward to what I hope will be a big win for the Bills.

Here is a brief preview of what to look out for while you’re following along with the game this afternoon:

Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott did a heck of a job last year but will have to do an even better job tough season in 2018. Photo credit: Kevin Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

Nathan Peterman

The butt of many jokes since being named the Bills starting QB, Peterman has to come out today and silence the doubters. Give me 200 yards passing and 2 TDs and I’ll be happy. That’s not too much to ask for. Right?

Offensive Line

The offensive line looked putrid in the last few preseason games and must be better today if the Bills hope to have a chance. Their progression is probably the most-important thing for the Buffalo offense this season.

Defense

If the Bills are to win today it will likely be due to a strong defensive effort. Joe Flacco stinks so that shouldn’t be too difficult.

I’ll be in attendance this afternoon, which may cause my interaction to be slowed a bit, but regardless, tune in @BataviasBest starting at 1:00 pm for live discussion centered around the topics listed above.
