It took two overtimes, but they Byron-Bergen/Elba Boys Soccer team was finally eliminated from NYSPHSAA Title contention with a 2-1 extra session loss to Section IV’s Lansing in the Class C Finals. Despite an early goal from the Bees, the Bobcats would go on to score the next two – and walked away with the hardware at game’s end.

What a fantastic 2017 run for B-B/E, but I’m sure that’s no consolation to falling one win short of the ultimate.

In any event, with Section V, and Far West Regional Championships under their belt, the Bees have everything to be proud of.

Congratulations to this team, and program on a remarkable season.
