Over the weekend at the NYSPHSAA Track and Field Championships, Byron-Bergen’s Brandon Burke was the lone local athlete to earn a first place finish. Burke won the Division II High Jump with a leap of 6’8″. Burke also finished as runner-up in the Long Jump, and Triple Jump.

He is just the second male Track and Field State Champ ever to come from Byron-Bergen.
