Winning the Wheatland-Chili Holiday Tournament yesterday with a 37-30 win over the host team in the title game, the Cal-Mum Girls Basketball team has continued to perform well and heads into the new year with plenty of momentum. Earning Tournament MVP honors was the Raiders’ Addy Molisani, while they also had Claudia Haut and Gill Flint honored as All-Tournament Team selections.
For the Wildcats, Taylor Clar and Hannah Callaghan were selected to the All-Tournament team, while Albion’s Chaynce Powell and RCMCS’ Kayla Brown were also honored as members.
Wednesday night’s game began with C-M gaining a three-point advantage over W-C after the first quarter, and throughout the next 24:00 of play, the Raiders were able to hold onto their lead and preserve the seven-point victory.
