The Cal-Mum Softball team saw their postseason run come to an end over the weekend with a 4-3 loss to Section VI’s Chautauqua Lake in the NYSPHSAA Class C Far West Regional. With the loss, the Raiders fell just one game short of reaching the state final four.
This marks the end of the 2018 local HS Baseball/Softball season, but there is still plenty more to come right here at Batavia’s Best – including the Spring Sports Awards, our All-Batavia’s Best teams, Final Power Rankings, Final Standings, Statistical Leaders, and a Season Wrap-Up.
