The Le Roy Softball team will continue its cinderella run toward the Class C1 Title this afternoon as the Knights head back to Bloomfield, the site of their exciting semifinal win over #2 Addison, where they will meet top-seed Gananda in the championship game. Here is a brief preview of today’s contest:
Game Outlook: Le Roy has endured a roller coaster of a season, struggling at the beginning of the year only to get things going when it mattered most down the stretch of the regular season, and into the playoffs. Enter the Gananda Blue Panthers. The top-seed in Class C1 is currently 18-1 and riding a 16-game win streak. This won’t be an easy game for Le Roy, but in the dn, I’m going with the Knights. They are as hot as any team in Section V right now and I don’t expect their flame to be extinguished quite yet.
Prediction: Le Roy 6 Gananda 5
