Although things are looking bleak for the Bills off the field, with Marcell Dareus’ issues, etc., Buffalo’s play on the field has left me with little cause for concern heading into this season. Admittedly, I was originally unsure what to expect from this group when I looked at all the reports during the offseason and during training camp. But over the first two preseason games, especially this last one vs the Giants, I am excited about the Bills’ potential come the regular season.
For starters, Tyrod has looked fantastic over the course of his limited time under center. In particular this play:

Secondly, the depth of the Bills team as a whole has helped them ease the blow of the losses they have suffered during the first few weeks of the preseason.

And lastly, the addition of Rob Ryan has already seemed to make an impact on the defense.

All in all, the Bills are trending upward as they approach the final two preseason games – both of which will be on the road. It will be vital to continue their momentum over those two games, and into the regular season.
