Kierra performed very well during her last year at Attica. Here is her profile:

Kierra Perl – Attica High School – Girls Basketball

5’10” – Senior

AB: As a Senior this season, did you accomplish all you set out to?

KP: Yes, I wanted to make the top 10 all-time scorers list in the programs history and I got to 7th with 470 career points.

AB: What will you miss most about playing for Attica Basketball?

KP: I’ll miss playing with some of my closest friends and just being a part of the program.

AB: Moving forward, do you feel the younger players on your team can continue to build success over the next few seasons?

KP: The younger players put in a lot of work in in the off-season with spring league and practices, and some play in AAU leauges over summer.   I think that they’ll really benefit from that and it will help them next season and beyond.

AB: What did you do over the past few years to help the younger players along?

KP: I don’t take it easy on them if were scrimmaging with JV or something.   I’ll play them like they were on varsity and I usually correct them if they’re in the wrong spot or help them if they don’t understand the play were running.

AB: Finally, what was the most memorable moment of this past season?

KP: The most memorable moment was probably when we beat Oakfield, they had a really good team this season, and after them already beating us once, we worked really hard and pulled together and we came out with a win.
