AB: Your home gym was a true ‘home court advantage’ this season. How much do you feel that played into your overall success?

NH: It played a huge role in our success. The gym was packed almost every game and they were cheering guys on like never before.

AB: You were the only team to defeat every team in the GR this season. Is that something you guys hold on to despite falling just short of a league title?

NH: We really wanted the league title, we thought we did win it, but beating every team in the GR shows how dominant of a team we were.

AB: You were one of the most integral parts to your team’s success this year. What went into that?

NH: I work so hard on my game. I wanted to be one of the best, I love the competition in basketball and I always want to win.

AB: Is there anything specific from this season you will look back on most?

NH: I took a half court shot against Elba in our first matchup, it went in and out and we lost. If that shot had fallen, we would be league champs.

AB: Finally, did you accomplish all you set out to this season?

NH: We had one of the best seasons in Lyndonville history, but I think the team wanted to go further for sure.

Nick was undoubtedly the Tigers’ best offensive player this season, and in being such, he was also the catalyst of the team. Lyndonville will miss him next season.
