Despite carrying a 3-1 lead into the third period last night vs Victor, the Notre Dame Hockey team ran out of steam down the stretch of the contest – falling to the Blue Devils by an eventual 7-3 score. Lighting the lamp for the Irish were Bryan Moscicki and Henrik Toiviainen (2 goals), while Ethan Conrad performed well in net for 2/3 periods.

With the loss, ND will now head down south where they will face #3 team in the State (#1 in Division II) Pelham at Sportorama in Monsey, NY – which is just outside of NYC. Puck drop at 4:30 pm. We will have LIVE updates @BB_Scores on Twitter.

“We played about as good as we can play (vs Victor) for the first 35 minutes, and then we played about as bad as we can play for the final 10 minutes,” said ND head coach Marc Staley following the game last night. “Credit goes to Victor for sticking with it and not packing it in. They really came after us late in the game and got some bounces.”

Staley continued to speak about his team’s upcoming contest with Pelham this Saturday.

“We will be back on the ice tomorrow morning at 6:00 am and we will learn from this,” he began. “There are only eight teams still left playing High School hockey in New York State right now, and we are one of them. No panic in our locker room. I think Saturday we will come with a great effort down in New York City.”

Stay tuned as we will follow the Irish on their road trip down south.
