Notre Dame Swimming’s Lemley endured historic season in 2015/2016

Notre Dame’s Chris Lemley endured a fantastic season in the water throughout 2015-2016. Not only was he able to go undefeated in individual events during the year, but he also set several school records in his events. Here is a list of his accomplishments:

– Undefeated season in individual events

         200 free: 1:54.36

         200 IM:  2:17.48

         50 free:  :23.86

         100 fly:  1:01.39

         100 free:  :49.24

         500 free:  5:41.53

         100 back:  :54.76

         100 breast:  1:11.47

–  School Records set in the 100 free and 100 backstroke

–  2016 High Point Scorer for ND

–  2-time GRL Swimmer of the Week selection

–  100 backstroke champion at HAC Invitational

–  Genesee Region Champion in the 100 free and 100 backstroke

–  Genesee Region League Swimming Championships Swimmer of the Meet

–  2016 Genesee Region All-star selection

–  Section V, Class D runner-up in the 100 free and 100 backstroke

–  New York State Meet Qualifier in the 100 backstroke

–  28th place in public school at NYS Championships

–  33rd place in federation at NYS Championships

All in all, it was one successful season for Chris, for which I am certain he is extremely proud of – and rightfully so. Congrats to he and his teammates for a great year and loads of success.
