The Oakfield/Elba Eight-Man Football team picked up another victory over the weekend, a 68-22 drubbing of CG Finney, and they continue to look like the top-team in line for a title this year. Leading the OA/E offense in their big win was Ty Mott, as the sophomore RB/DB went for 150 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns on just 8 carries.

Despite a big day from the offense, the OA/E defense was the unit which carried the team on Saturday afternoon, as they held the Falcons to just 8 points with 5 minutes left in the fourth quarter – before Finney scored twice in ultra-garbage time. Mott, QB/DB Colton Dillon, TE/LB Kyle Magliocco, and WR/DB Trevor Maier all secured turnovers throughout the game.

For Finney in defeat Maalik Thomas ran hard and finished with 219 rushing yards and 2 rushing touchdowns on 25 carries.

Next up for OA/E (4-0) will be a matchup with Marcus Whitman (2-2) this coming Saturday at 1:30 pm in Elba.
