The Oakfield-Alabama/Elba Cross Country team won the Section V Class D Championship this past Saturday at Wayne Central School. With the championship victory, the Hornets are going to states next weekend. The team is coached by Oakfield alum Peter Beuler – who also helped lead the team to states when he was a member the team in 2006.
