AB: Going into next year, your senior season, is there anything specific you hope to accomplish?

OT: Going into my senior season, I’d really like to repeat as GR champions and win a sectional title. Throughout my entire career, my number one goal has always been to win a sectional title, so it would be really special to do so during my senior year.

AB: What is a typical offseason like for you and your teammates?

OT: During the offseason my teammates and I try to practice and work as much as possible. As a team, we play in spring and summer basketball leagues and also attend a number of different basketball camps.

AB: Being your last offseason as a high school player, will you ramp up your activity? Or just business as usual?

OT: I plan on working extra hard. As well as playing in spring and summer basketball leagues, I’d really like to focus on spending more time in the weight room and working on my strength and agility.

AB: What are you looking forward to most about your senior year at Attica?

OT: Going into my senior year at Attica I’m really looking forward to playing one more year with my teammates and getting one last chance at winning a sectional title. I’m also very excited to become more of a leader on the team and help some of the younger players in the program.

AB:  Finally, will it be tough leaving this year’s seniors behind as you move into the offseason?

OT: Yes, it will definitely be tough leaving this year’s seniors behind. I have played with them since modified basketball and I have gotten to be really close friends with all of them. I am really going to miss all the practices and games that took place during the spring, summer, and winter. I wish all of them the best of luck in their future.
