Here is my 2016 Season Preview for the Pavilion Girls Soccer Team:

———-

Head Coach: Nicole Wittmeyer

Key Players: Emma Milligan and Jordan Barrett are extremely tough, competitive and versatile players for the Golden Gophers, who also possess a strong ability to find the back of the net. Kim Davis and Taylor Heineman will anchor the midfield this year with their smart and calculated play, and are also both strong offensive threats per their head coach. Chloe Schrier will be the eyes and the ears for this year’s team and is a rock solid defender in the backfield for the team as well. Lastly, Brooke Coniber and Morgan Adams will be key contributors to this year’s team and vital to Pavilion’s success.

Season Outlook: “This year’s squad is young but ready to work,” said Wittmeyer. “A number of these girls have put a great deal of effort into getting faster, stronger, better in the offseason and their hard work is showing this preseason. Despite being a young team, this group is focused, coachable and dedicated to winning. I look to the young kids to play a big role in the success of the team as well this year. This group will be ready to go every night and compete until time runs out.”
