PRESS RELEASE: Batavia Basketball Skill Enhancement Camp set to begin July 6th

The Batavia Basketball Program will be hosting a Skill Enhancement Camp this summer at Batavia City Schools beginning on July 6th – running until August 14th.

The camp has been organized by Batavia head coach Buddy Brasky, along with the assistance of Elba Girls coach Tom Redband, Pembroke Boys coach Matt Shay, long-time basketball savant Bill Pitcher, and former Division 1 & professional basketball player Billy Truitt.

The camp will be sponsored by the Batavia Basketball Booster Club.

The dates for the camp will be from July 6th-August 14th.

The camp will have two sessions:

– Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 am – 12 pm (Boys in grades 9-college)

– Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 am – 12 pm (Boys in grades 7-8; Girls in grades 7-college)

The program is open to anyone within the age range listed above.

During the six weeks of the camp, offensive skill development/enhancement will be the primary focus.
