Tonight’s Connors and Ferris Bowl Class C1 Final will be the lone Section V Football game on tap for Wednesday, which puts the best rivalry in NYS in the spotlight once again, as Le Roy and Cal-Mum/Byron-Bergen hit the field for the 87th meeting in their history.

The C&F Bowl Title isn’t known to be the most-prestigious HS football postseason crown that one can win, but more than a consolation championship will be on the line tonight at Hartwood Park.

The last time these two teams met it was Le Roy who came out on top, but I expect the Red Raiders to be chomping at the bit tonight – as they hope to end their season with a victory over their longtime rival.

Stay tuned for postgame coverage of a game that, although it wouldn’t typically be highly anticipated, many are locked into this evening.
