The Orange opened the season this past week with an 83-55 victory over Colgate, and now will look ahead to the Brooklyn Holiday Hoops Invitational – which begins tomorrow.

Cuse brings back just four players this season, which will certainly adjust the learning curve for the team as a whole, but having returning starters Dajuan Coleman and Tyler Roberson will be a big help in easing the transition into 2016-2017.

Tyler Lydon, Tyus Battle, and Andrew White also seem to be on the cusp of breakout seasons, and all of which contributed in their first couple exhibition games, along with their season-opening win vs the Raiders. Frank Howard and John Gillon will split time at the PG position for the Orange.

All in all, it will undoubtedly be a transitional year for the Cuse. However, with Boeheim at the helm they will always have a chance to make the tournament, and make a strong run upon doing so.

Stay tuned as we will follow the Orange this year along their quest to the NCAA Mens Basketball Tournament.
