Byron-Bergen’s Brandon Burke skies for a layup early-on in the Boys All-Star Game.

A day which featured several high-flying slam dunks, sharp shooting, and quality overall play, several local athletes were also featured during the Ronald McDonald House Boys and Girls All-Star Games. Owen Thompson (Attica) and Brandon Burke (Byron-Bergen) each participated on the boys side, while Olivia George (Alexander), Emily Weber (Attica), and Gill Flint (Cal-Mum) all took the floor for the girls game.

Burke and Thompson finished their game with about 5-10 points a piece, while Burke added a few exceptionally athletic plays – including a dunk. Thompson was on-point from the perimeter – including an early three-pointer which got his team back into it.

On the girls side, Flint, George, and Weber all took turns contributing on both ends of the floor for their respective teams’.

The RMH All-Star Game wraps-up what was an exciting 2016-2017 Section V Basketball season.

Until next year…
