As of December 22nd, three local high school sports teams have been ranked in the state by the NYSSWA. Here is the list:
- Notre Dame Hockey (8-0): Ranked 7th in Division II NYS Hockey
- Elba Boys Basketball (5-0): Ranked 7th in Class D NYS Basketball
- Batavia Boys Basketball (5-0): Ranked 20th in Class A NYS Basketball
Stay tuned throughout the year to see if any other local teams stick their nose inside the state rankings.
