The train rolls on for the Wheatland-Chili Girls Soccer team, who defeated Section VI opponent Maple Grove 3-2 in the NYSPHSAA Class C Far West Regional on Saturday afternoon. Down 2-0 early in the first half, the Wildcats got three unanswered goals from sophomore forward Niyah Rosado, all of which were assisted by junior midfielder Lindsey Clar.

With the win, W-C moves on to the state final four where they will face Section III champ Little Falls in the NYSPHSAA Class C Semifinal, a game which will be played this Saturday at 5:30 pm in Cortland, NY.

Stay tuned for continued updates on the Wildcats’ journey towards a third-straight NYSPHSAA Title.
