Alexander, Cal-Mum, and Byron-Bergen Girls Soccer all advance to next round of Sectionals

Last night, a few local Girls soccer teams were able to advance to the next round of Sectionals, while a few were unable to make it to the next round. Here are the results:

 

Attica Girls suffered a 2-0 loss to Wellsville 

CalMum Girls defeated Letchworth 3-0

2 goals from C-M’s Jessica Garland (Assisted by Abby Webster and Claudia Haut)

1 goal from C-M’s Claudia Haut (Unassisted)

1 save from C-M’s Megan Little

Alexander Girls defeated Red Creek 6-0

3 goals from Alexander’s Marissa Scharlau (2 assists from Stephany McBride, 1 assist from Maggie Dabb)

2 goals from Alexander’s Haley Wasikowski (1 assist from Stephany McBride, 1 assist from Jordan Schmidt)

1 goal from Alexander’s Megan West (Assist from Jordan Schmidt)

1 save from Alexander’s Lauren Hume

Oakfield Girls suffered a 3-0 loss to Bloomfield

Byron-Bergen Girls defeated Pembroke 1-0

1 goal from Byron-Bergen’s Leah Thompson (Unassisted)

8 saves from Byron-Bergen’s Hailey Hubbard

Pavilion Girls suffered a 2-0 loss to Bishop Kearney
