The Alexander Girls Basketball team made it all the way to the Sectional Semifinals last season, but lost a bit from last year’s group. Here is a brief preview of their upcoming slate:

Alexander Trojans

Head Coach: Marcia Hirsch

Record Last Season: 12-11

Key Players

Macie Riggs (Junior) – Macie missed the first half of last season due to injury, and is looking forward to a full campaign this year.

Lexi Breton (Senior) – Lexi returns as one of the Trojans top-rebounders, and defenders.

Caylin Walton (Senior) – Caylin will deliver help offensively, primarily along the perimeter.

Coach’s Outlook

“I expect our team to thrive on defense, and allow that to help our offense. We look to improve every day.

After losing so much to graduation, we have our work cut out for us. However, I have faith in these girls and they’ve been working hard.”
