Karli Phillips and Olivia George each scored in double-figures on Tuesday night in order to spark the Alexander Girls Basketball team over Attica in the first round of the Avon Holiday Tournament. George led the Trojans with 11 and Phillips was just behind her with 10 of her own, while six other players also recorded baskets for Alexander. For Attica, Kierra Perl led all scorers with 18 points.
The game began with the Trojans taking a 15-4 lead after the first quarter, and their double-digit lead held true until the final buzzer.
