Ahead by only five at the half last night, Lyndonville Boys Basketball was eventually able to defeat Alexander by a wide margin – winning the game 61-45. The Tigers played a little under the weather on Thursday, as they had a few players sick in the game, but still found a way to overcome a gritty Trojans squad.

Leading Lyndonville on Thursday was Eddie Schildt who scored 16 points as the game’s top-scorer, while Nick Hinkson and Eric Neace were also in double-figures – scoring 13 and 12 points respectively. For Alexander, although 11 players recorded points, none were in double-figures.

The win marks yet another huge league victory for the Tigers who will now look to advance their place in the standings down the stretch of the season – with hopes of competing for the league title and beyond.
