Down by two heading into the fourth over the weekend vs Class A opponent Wayne, the Attica Boys Basketball team was able to use a strong final frame in order to move past the Eagles by a final score of 54-52. Kyle Casey recorded a clutch basket down the stretch for Attica in order to put them out in front during the fourth quarter, followed by a few three-pointers from Owen Thompson and Levi Snyder – which eventually clinched the slim win.
Leading the way for Attica in the win were Thompson and Colden George, who scored 24 points and 20 points respectively.
“I’m really proud of these guys and the way they have been handling themselves,” said Attica head coach Rob Crowley following the game on Saturday. “We are focused and playing good at the right time.”
Attica remains the #4 seed in Class B2, where they will likely face-off with Marcus-Whitman in the first round of Sectionals.
