The Batavia Football team beat up on Wayne last night – the Blue Devils homecoming night – by a final score of 54-0.
Leading the way for the Blue Devils was top running back Dom Mogavero, who finished with 111 yards on 6 carries, including 2 touchdowns. Batavia QB Greg Mruczek had another big day in the passing game as well, finishing 8/11 for 159 yards and three more touchdown passes. His favorite receiver on the night was Trevor Sherwood who finished with 110 yards receiving and a score. John Garlock backed up Mogavero with 126 yards rushing to round out the offensive leaders for the Devils.
Defensively for Batavia, Terren Lovria once again led Batavia in tackles with 9, while Danny Williams recorded 7 of his own and Noah Dobbertin finished with 5.
With the win, Batavia remains unbeaten (6-0) on the year and will head into their Week 7 matchup with Geneva hoping to complete their perfect regular season.
