The Batavia Girls Basketball team opens the season tonight with a home game vs Livonia. Here is a brief preview of their upcoming slate:

Batavia Blue Devils

Head Coach: Marty Hein

Record Last Season: 5-17

Key Players

Ryann Stefaniak (Junior) – Ryann finished first-team All-County last season, and will be the team leader offensively once again this year.

Bri Janes (Senior) – Bri is the team’s lone senior this season and will look to bring experience and toughness on defense.

Coach’s Outlook

“Our Competition is always tough, so winning championships is never an easy task. It takes hard work, dedication and commitment – and I feel that we have that in this group.

Our roster is not large in numbers but I feel is it is deep in talent. More-so than any other that I have been apart of in this program. ”
