The Batavia Ice Devils have really picked up their level of play as of late, and continued to play well with a big win over Geneva last night. Defeating their opponent 3-1, the Ice Devils received scoring efforts from Bryce Polito, Austin Casey and Dustin Dabb.

The Devils went ahead 3-0 in the game and allowed Geneva to score a late one in order to cut the Batavia advantage to just two. But behind a strong defensive performance, sparked by 24 saves from Connor Hyde-Hamilton, the Devils hung on and were able to win the game by the 3-1 score.

Next up for Batavia will be an exciting matchup with Notre Dame on Saturday. If the Irish win, or the two teams tie, we will see them face-off once again in the first round of sectionals.
