Byron-Bergen enters the season starting only one senior, but they hope to compete on a nightly basis. Here is a brief preview of their upcoming slate:

Byron-Bergen Bees

Head Coach: Rick Krzewinski

Record last season: 14-8

Key Players

Dana VanValkenburg (Senior) – Dana averaged 13 points last season, and finished as a GR League All-Star.

Kelsey Fuller (Sophomore) – Kelsey will be forced to step into a more-important role this season after averaging 5 points per game last year.

Miriam Tardy (Sophomore) – The same that was said for Fuller can be said for Miriam, as she will be called upon to up her 4 point per game average from last season.

Coach’s Outlook

“This is my 19th year in the league and I can’t remember (a year that) so many teams brought back so many key players. We are going to be young, but I’m hoping we will be able to compete on a nightly basis.”

– Byron-Bergen HC Krzewinski
