Last night in Scottsville, the Cal-Mum Girls Basketball team was able to cruise past Wheatland-Chili thanks to a sound first half effort. Ahead 27-11 at the break, the Raiders stayed the course throughout the second half and won the game 49-37.

Recording the big game for C-M was Batavia’s Best of the Night recipient Hannah Wade, who dropped 16 points and 12 rebounds for her first double-double since a game in mid-January vs Avon. Also recording a double-double, and perhaps the best all-around game on Monday, was the Raiders’ Gill Flint – who scored 13, grabbed 13 rebounds, recorded 5 steals, and 3 assists.

Addy Molisani rounded out the top-performers for C-M with 3 points, 4 steals, and 8 assists. “She really handled Wheatland’s pressure and got the ball to the right people at the right time tonight,” said C-M head coach Mike Reed following the game.

With the win, the Raiders are now 15-3, while Wheatland falls to 15-2 following their second loss of the season – both coming to C-M.
