As you watch the two big games today, here are a few things to look out for:

-Can OSU’s Cardale Jones overcome the vaunted Alabama Crimson Tide in what will be just his second start under center? Jones replaced injured OSU QB Barrett Jones, who replaced QB Braxton Miller who has missed the entire season with a leg issue.

-Will Jameis Winston finally lose his first game as a collegiate quarterback? The Florida State QB is currently 26-0 during his two years at the school.

-Can Urban Meyer take a second school to the National Championship game? The now-Ohio State head coach previously appeared in multiple championship games while at Florida.

-Will Marcus Mariota become the second-consecutive Heisman-winning quarterback to win the National Championship? (Winston won both during 2014)

-For the first time since 1997, Nick Saban has a chance to lose two-consecutive bowl games. Can the Buckeyes make that happen?
