The Cal-Mum Girls Basketball team was able to hold on to a nice win over Avon last night by a final score of 37-34. Despite going 6/14 from the free throw line down the stretch, the Raiders stepped up on the defensive end in order to solidify the fourth quarter victory over the Braves.

Highlighting the quality performance from Cal-Mum was Gill Flint who recorded a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Hannah Wade also recorded a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds. Addy Molisani carried C-M during the second half offensively with 8 points during the final two quarters. In defeat the Braves were led by 13 points and 12 rebounds from Amy Fayville, while Olivia Findlay added 11.

Considering the low score and all of the rebounding done in this game, it is safe to say there were plenty of missed shots to go around on Friday night. However, being a defensive team as the Raiders are, it is safe to say a knock-down, drag-out game certainly works in their favor.
