Ahead 18 points after the third quarter on Tuesday, the Batavia Girls Basketball almost allowed a comeback for the ages as Irondequoit pushed the score all the way to within 1 with just seconds to play – but Batavia was able to hold on in the end and secure a slim three-point victory.

Performing well offensively for the Devils were Tiara Filbert, Ryann Stefaniak, and Taylor Stefaniak, as the trio scored 18, 16, and 14 points to help spark the win. For Irondequoit, Megan Dano scored 16 points – all of which came during the second half.
