Last night the Elba Boys Basketball team defeated host Keshequa in order to walk away with the Indians’ Holiday Tournament Title. The shining light in the Lancers victory over Keshequa was without a doubt Henry Pflaumer, who finished with a total of 28 points including 6 three-pointers. Also contributing a strong performance for Elba in the win was John Hochmuth, who scored 15 points.
A 40-36 game after three quarters, the Lancers used a 13-point fourth quarter from Pflaumer in order to secure the victory over the Indians.
So far this season this Elba team has impressed greatly within the GR League and beyond. Still unblemished, it certainly will be fun to watch where this Lancers team ends up at season’s end.
