Elba Girls Basketball tops Oakfield – Howard records triple-double

The Elba Girls Basketball team earned a big win over Oakfield on Friday night by a final score of 52-41. Scoring big for the Lancers in the win was Emily Reynolds who dropped 15 points, while Carli Bogue, Madison Howard and Tatiana Draper also recorded double-figures with 12, 11 and 10 points respectively. Howard also had 10 rebounds and 10 assists to complete a triple-double effort. For OA, no player recorded double-digit points.

Elba was up 6 at the end of the half, 7 at the end of the third, and went on to pull away during the fourth in order to win the game by 11 points.
