Take a look at what is in store for the Lancers:
Elba/B-B – Class C – 10 first level Sectional points
Playoff scenarios:
- With a win, Elba will vault themselves into the fourth seed, as Dansville and Lyons/Sodus, who were both just ahead of the Lancers in terms of overall points, each lost last night. If they are to earn the fourth seed, Elba will play Dansville in the first round of Sectionals
- With a loss, Elba will remain the six seed and will play Bath in the first round of Sectionals
Other items to add:
- Elba controls their own destiny here in a game that really makes a difference in their standing. I’m certain the Lancers would rather play Dansville than Bath, having seen each team play this season
- It will be extremely difficult for Elba to make a run at the Class C crown. With Le Roy and Attica standing in their way, it will take the Lancers’ best effort to advance to the finals
