The Elba Softball team moved past Lyndonville on Monday by a final score of 11-2. Carli Bogue earned the win in the circle for the Lancers, giving up 6 hits, while striking out 16. Offensively for Elba, Lauryn Engle finished the day 2/4 with 3 RBI, while Meaghan Kogut went 2/3 with a home run.
For Lyndonville in the loss, Anna Lewis finished 3/4.
“This was a very important divisional win for us,” said Elba head coach Steve Chiocco following the game. “The girls are just playing awesome ball. They beat a very good Lyndonville team today.”
With the win, Elba is now 7-1.
